Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

More pizza. More Prosecco. Yay!

We had a luncheon date with Bailey, Rufus and their mums (Extra). But Archie had been invited out with Annemique, whom he hasn’t seen for ages (she's been a way on holiday), so he missed out on the doggie fun. But look how pleased he was to see her again.

We were happy to partake of the free Prosecco at our newly discovered doggy-friendly pizza chain with outdoor seating. It's Janet's birthday this month as well, so it's been flowing this month.

For ages, we were the only folk there, so Rufus and Bailey could wander around freely - brilliant. Then, as the day got sunnier and warmer, it filled up. Desserts were enjoyed too. But I still had room for an ice cream before catching the bus!

Annemique and Jenna took Archie out, and this time, as we were out gallivanting, deposited him back in the flat on their return. That worked well. Except that he was up at the window when I came back, having been, I suspect, barking. When we leave him alone we close the blinds so that he can’t see out and bark at folk.

Elizabeth is not seeing Archie this week at all - she's just moved house and is very happy! We'll go and see the new abode very soon. Though Archie has seen it a few times already.
