Out On The Tiles
We've spent another interesting day visiting two more of the industrial museums in Ironbridge, the Coalport China Museum and the Jackfield Tile Museum. The collage shows some of the exhibits demonstrating typical uses tiles over the years in tube stations, shops, pubs and the children's wards in hospitals.
The last couple of days have made us realise how inventive, ingenious and skilled people were at the time of the Industrial Revolution but also how hard life was for ordinary working people.
Another pleasant evening enjoying good pub food and local ales.
