Last day of summer

A collage today as I wanted to record the flowers that we have out in the garden at the end of August.
Meteorologically speaking is the last day of summer.

What a beautiful day it has been.
We had an early evening BBQ and drank our last bottle of rose wine.

Unfortunately our granddaughter couldn't join us as she was feeling unwell this morning. Violently sick whilst out shopping with us, so we took her back home to bed. I was quite worried, and went to see our pharmacist.  She prescribed  some medicine, which fortunately seems to have done the trick, and she is now feeling much better.
