A "Groovy" Night in Town

It was the last concert of the summer season...put on by a group called The Magic Bus. I thought we might be in for a treat when they rolled up in the multi-colored VW bus. I was right.

As we people-watched the passer-bys from our farmer's market booth...NEVER have I seen so many "old hippies", so many tie-dyed shirts, and...so many women in bell-bottom trousers. AND I LIVED THROUGH THE SIXTIE'S!

Look at the size of the crowd at the gazebo! I think the fans of the band follow them around, and our locals came out, too. Lots of singing along, and a lot of folks up dancing.

It's always fun to sit and listen to a group when you know EVERY song. As an added bonus, two hot-air balloons were touring the skies, and one of them dipped down really low. I think the balloonists were enjoying the music, too.
