Dipping

To Born in the Borders this afternoon.  The cousins spent a happy hour dipping their nets into the mill lade and fishing out a lot of duckweed and one or two more interesting items - tiny trout (or maybe salmon) fry, and something that looked like a twig with legs.  I think we've identified it as the larval case of Anabolia nervosa, but that's just our best guess from looking at pictures online.  

All the trophies were returned to the water, and the nets have been put away till the next visit.
