Watch The Birdie

This morning I went to Isel Park for a walk but didn't take many steps.  Right beside the car park is a tall Kowhai tree and in it were up to ten Tui feeding on the nectar in the flowers.  I have never seen this before.  When a shower of rain came through I retreated to the car.  In the first extra you can see pollen on its beak and raindrops from the shower on its feathers.  I was thrilled with this encounter so you get extras.
