Birthday Dinner!
Well, finally here - the day I turned 40 and what a wonderful place in which to wake up. It really was the most chilled out day ever. We all got dressed up in our Sunday best and went out for lunch. We found a nice wee hotel and as I had overdone the wine and whisky the previous evening, stodge was the order of the day and I tried steak and kidney pudding for the first time ever.
Afterwards we took a wander round the local posh supermarket Booths. My favourite dinner in the whole wide world is what we call a plate of gemminess! Basically consists of a some nice cold meat, some fish, pate and some cheese with a nice piece of bread. And of course a nice bottle of wine! Holly Rose enjoyed her mini portion sans vin
