Loch Scridain At Pennyghael
White Tailed Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles, Hen Harriers, Buzzards, Sparrowhawks, Kestrels, Ravens, Hooded Crows, Otter, Adder, Wheatear, Charm of Goldfinches, Red Deer, Common Seals, Ringed Plover, Greenshank, Dunlin, Meadow Pippet, Herons, Great Black Backed Gulls, perhaps a Mountain Hare (or a rabbit on steroids) Field Gentians and a whole host of other flowers. So many ticks in the wildlife catalogue, Mull’s flora and fauna came out in force today on a wildlife tour led by our knowledgable guide Bryan.
What a day and the weather played ball too. With yesterday’s score Rain 2 - 1 Sunshine at half time, Sunshine levelled the score early in the second half with a stunning equaliser.
Within 10 minutes of being picked up we saw our first pair of Sea Eagles and the day just went on from there. And we were the only two on the tour today.
Shame the blip is not of something from that list that would have been too much to ask.
Thank you for all your comments and stars. There’s not been much time to reciprocate, but I will.
