On Cheswick Beach
A trip in to Berwick to the dentist's this afternoon - for me a follow-up appointment after the tooth extraction, and a filling; just a check-up for MrM.
Nothing better after a visit to the dentist than a walk on the beach, so MrM drove us down to Cheswick. It was perfect - pleasantly warm and miles of deserted sand (we passed four other people on the beach). We walked as far as we could to the south until we reached the stream from the North Low, too deep to cross as the tide was in.
Someone had been busy creating this 'sculpture' in the sand. In the distance is MrM walking ahead of me, and in the far distance, to the right, you can just see Bamburgh Castle.
