Green walnuts

A few walnuts on the tree on Wooler Common last year, but this year there are lots.

We had intended to go to the Glendale Show today, but after considering our finances and what we need to do over the next few weeks, decided that the day would be better spent working on the 'Music Room'. MrM started stripping wallpaper in there at the very end of December last year, and there's still a lot to do before the room is finished...

So I spent a chunk of the day cleaning glue from the new floor, while MrM started putting in the skirting boards. Neither of us set foot outside the 'yard until early evening, when we went for a short walk round the Common.
