Country Gal in a Honky Tonk

Today we honky tonked! Popped into Nudies, but not quite our style, so went to Legends Corner instead where a lovely trio played all our requests (no one else seemed to be contributing)! We sat, drank, listened and played cards which seemed particularly relevant when they sang Kenny Rogers’ ‘The Gambler’!!!
Next stop was Jason Aldean’s for lunch and a roof-top stop, but it was so hot (35 degrees) that we returned to the hotel for a siesta, before tackling the Wildhorse Saloon and some line dancing in the evening. Nashville is just amazing. So cool to hear all our favourite tunes played loud and live and being appreciated and celebrated by other like-minded folk (with or without cowboy hats and boots!). I wish I could pop in whenever I wanted.
