We swam for about an hour... we’re getting there, I think. It was pretty rough so a good gauge of how cold it might be if we have similar conditions for our challenge swim.

I was in danger of just sleeping for the rest of the day once I’d regained some circulation so I got on the bike and ended up having a bit of an adventure from my doorstep. I took a new route off the beaten track at Lowther and found a hidden old chapel-like building and some standing stones (collage extra which I’ll delete shortly as I’m running out of extras). And I found supper ...this may end up being my last blip * ...for any Tintin fans ...you’ll understand why this reminded me of ‘Tintin and the Shooting Star’!
