Carnival

Well, we were on our way to John Lewis to look at stuff and fairly quickly realised that most of the passengers were on their way to Notting Hill. It was a carnival atmosphere on the tube and the platform at Oxford Circus was packed. All in good spirits, especially the couple sitting opposite who were pouring themselves Jack Daniels into paper cups as we trundled along.
