Helping out at the Padiham on Parade weekend for Armed Forces Day. With the new Brothers in Arms exhibition inside ... we had a First World War Tommy and a VAD out on the front lawn to talk with visitors and a vintage bus to trundle people to and from Padiham Town Centre. Phew it was hot!! So much so that even our '40s gal needed sunscreen. You can just see a bit of the ghostly gardens revealed by the long hot summer .. in one of the extras.
