Dog Days

National Dog Day today and Bailey has spent it mainly like this. His head was practically on the pillow this morning and he has inhabited the sofa all afternoon and this evening. Post-travelling fatigue it would seem. It has definitely not been a dog day of summer with rain all day and lots of layers required this afternoon. Bailey and I walked down to the village and back along the canal this morning and got quite wet in the process. It has continued in much the same way so I have been quite pleased that he has shown very little interest in moving from the sofa. Me neither.
