On the shore
Bailey and I were up early for the fourth day in a row and on the road by ten past seven. An uneventful journey across to the other side with the suns shining all the way - not that that is due to last tomorrow. Bailey reacquainted himself with the block before lunch and then we went down to the shore this afternoon. Lovely skies and clouds and light down there and a few potential blips but I think this one represents the scale of it quite well.
And this evening we have been out to dinner to a new place with some old friends. We reckon there was a gap of about 15 years between seeing each other last Christmas and now a gap of about a fortnight since a visit to Lincoln. We are determined not to leave it as long ever again.
