NOT A STORK

A couple in the bird hide were quite excited because they thought it was a stork. This young heron was looking fairly grumpy probably because it had spent several minutes preening itself and still looked just as dishevelled.

I was spoilt for choice today. Just one extra, though – a female sparrowhawk looking a bit fierce. Both visible at the same time through the same window.
