No escape

A shortish walk this morning, over the ridge and back through the fields and wood before ending up in the community orchard where I cut back a few more brambles from around the fruit trees.

This girl was up on the ridge, walking a dog and chatting on her mobile phone. 

The extra is of all the caravans which have descended on Twin Woods in Bedfordshire for the annual Glenn Miller weekend.  It was where he was based and took off from during the war before disappearing over the Channel.
