Estonia’s Monument to the Victims of Communism

We were not due to check out until 12.00 (we’re 2 hours ahead), and we took the bus along the seafront.

Estonia lost a fifth of the population from 1940 to 1991. The Monument is moving, horrifying, respectful, beautiful.

We must never forget.....and before this visit I had NO idea.
