Rain whisperers

A thoroughly autumnal morning today. Clear, blue and crisp. Beautiful, but just a bit premature.

Met Robert in Schiphol this afternoon. After travelling through this airport countless times over the years, it was good to finally step outside it's doors.

A pleasant afternoon wondering the streets of Amsterdam. Pizza for €5 (come on!) and a couple of beers before the thunder and lightening chased us indoors.

I love Amsterdam already, mostly for it's cycle friendliness. Looking forward to some exploring on the bikes over the next few days.
