still summer...

...despite the recent cool and rainy fall weather, which (according to our newspaper) has fooled the Aspen trees in the mountains into the beginning of an early show of colors. Today was sunny and hot, I donned my shorts and flip flops once again, and this little critter was sleeping soundly in the shade until my clicking camera awoke it.
