The Drive Back Was A Bit Hair Raising

A lovely early morning walk around by the lagoon to keep up with my exercise regime, whilst the others were off cycling or sleeping.

The adults later decided to have some adult time and head out in the car to recce the route the men were planning on cycling to watch La Vuelta cycle race on Sunday (the main reason for being here) in the area of Camino Del Rey.

The lakes and mountains in the area were stunning with the turquoise water and red earth although the drive back, when the road became a dirt track down the mountain with a rapidly diminishing tank of fuel was a bit hair raising and we were glad when we found tarmac once again.
