Marrakech

Marrakech is a vibrant and frenetic city with donkeys and carts, horse drawn carriages, cars and thousands of bicycles and motorbikes all weaving in and out of pedestrians. Today it was incredible to see two adults and two small children all travelling on the same motorbike without any helmets! We also saw two riders on a bike with the rear passenger holding a pane of glass about 4ft square between them. I don't think health and safety is in the Moroccan dictionary. Wandering down the souks was another new experience, with us getting lost as apparently everyone does. Thank goodness Jen had an excellent sense of direction to get us safely back to our wonderful riad.
