Ice cream farm

Today was Gem's birthday. It was also a year ago today that Mum died. So we all went to the cheery ice cream farm in Cheshire. It was a lovely place and a nice time was had by all. Dad seemed quiet but in good spirits.

Harry on the way to the farm, in a different car to us, said: "I bet Simon will order the biggest ice cream you can buy and say he is sharing it with Iris!"

And that is exactly what the boy did! Harry has got him sussed!

Esther is still hiding when she has a poo! Today it was inside a giant toadstool. I'm just glad she doesn't pull her leggings and pants down.

Lovely family day. Shame Mum couldn't have been with us though.
