The past revisited!

When Mr U&L and I were first going out with each other and right up untill after our first daughter was born Mr U&L worked as a cleaner on the Kent and East Sussex railway in Tenterden in Kent.
It was quite a journey to get there but we went most months so he could do his turn cleaning the engines. After our first daughter was born he had a serious eye operation (followed by several others) which left him unable to drive or be passed to continue with his railway 'career', so we stopped going over there, and we had only visited once in the 35 years since.
Well today the Model Railway group he belongs to had a trip there and for the first time in many years he really enjoyed it!! Rosie and I went with him, but we went off to look at churches after a first trip down the line and left him to remeniss  with his railway club friends.
So, today's blip is LMR WD300 running round the train at Tenterden town while Mr U&L looks on.
I have also added a shot of the really sweet St peter's church Newenden in my extras.
