Green huntsman spider

I had a wonderful day today searching the heath land habitat of Old Lodge NR in Ashdown forest,. 
I love heath land habitat anyway, because it has a wonderful, diverse set of specific species not found anywhere else, and this reserve is a gem. It is the only place locally that supports a good population of the tiny Small red damselfly, and many other wonderful species of Dragonflies and damselflies. 
It is also wonderful for spiders, and once 8 years ago the small acidic heath land ponds were full of Raft spiders, sadly I have not seen them since, but I live in hope!
Today however I found this equally beautiful and rare Green huntsman spider Micrommata virescens, which according to British spiders is widespread but very scattered in the southern half of Britain. It goes on to say 'Both sexes are distinctive and are not likely to be mistaken for any other species in Britain. The spider prefers damp sheltered woodland and is often found on the lower branches of Oak saplings, on tall grass or sedge tussocks where it sits head down waiting to pounce on passing insects.' 
Females (and this is a female) mature from May through to September, the males which have a red and yellow striped abdomen are short lived and rare. Both sexes have six white circled black eyes,
