Port Vendres and Les Paulilles

Last trip to Les Paulilles today and the beach was decidedly quieter that previous visits at 08:30 – see additional blip. 
 
Nice swim, then a coffee and off to Port Vendres, where it was quite crowded but appallingly hot - 34°c.  A short walk, which left Shelley feeling exhausted, and then to our favourite restaurant on the quay – the Tramontane, which was filling up rapidly.  Shelley took some ice cubes from her Perrier and rubbed her arms, which was very restorative.  Great lunch and then out of curiosity we drove back to the car park at Les Paulilles –“Complet” (full).  How anyone could survive on that beach in these temperatures I just don’t know!
 
Home for a rest and a nice cup of tea!
