Completing Dundee Kiltwalk

A dull but mainly dry day.

The day finally arrived for the Dundee Kiltwalk. Rain had been forecast but it was dry for me doing the 6 mile section but those who started earlier to do 25 miles had an hour or so of rain. The photo is of myself, my sister and her husband just after we crossed the finish line.

This was the first time I had walked 7 miles without stopping and I was thrilled to complete the challenge, although very tired.

My family have raised just over £2,000 for CHAS and this will be increased by 40% by the Tom Hunter Foundation. Thanks to those who generously donated. There is still time if you would like to donate here
