Like a Blue Brooch on Lace

The blue butterflies will soon be gone. I was lucky to see this one today, especially as the fields all around us have been shorn and not much has grown since.

Phew, what a day of washing and cleaning after the departure of our 7 guests! We were helped by the sun shining all day till this evening when storms are threatening again.
