Trip to Memory Bay!

44 years ago, 4 students about to take their finals, decided to take a memorable and difficult, last trip together. We kayaked around Anglesey in under 24 hours. Our only stop was here, on Moelfre Bay beach from midnight till 4am, waiting for the tide to turn. We could hardly write our final exams, our hands were so sore from the trip.

Today has been a good day: Mum was single word responsive so we stayed longer this morning, we had lunch in Penrith with another one of my college friends and intothehills joined us, the predicted heavy rain and wind did not happen, and now we are parked up in a car park right on the beach for £2:50!

Just got here before dark, so huge thanks to all who are still following my journal and will try to catch up eventually, on yours. We are crossing to Dublin then touring Southern Ireland tomorrow.
