Loon Wing Flap ...

... captured from our friend Cynthia's deck this sunny morning. The back-lit image suffers from overexposure--I was so excited at the loon's close approach that I forgot to  reduce the high ISO setting I'd been using in the early evening yesterday, attempting to capture a  dozen or so ruby-throated humming birds  around a neighbor's deck. The extra is perhaps my best shot in the difficult light--a male and female circling at a feeder (out of the frame to the right--the male is below, with his ruby throat).
