Today's the day …………………….. to hang on in

Bit of a soggy day here today - with a definite hint of autumn in the air. 

We've actually lit the fire tonight - something we haven't done for many months.  These damsons hanging on the tree are ready for picking now and it won't be long before they are followed by the apples.  Does that mean that summer has come to an end?

I'm not quite ready for it - just yet ……………………….
