97 miles downstream from this spot the mighty River Tweed flows under magnificent bridges and thrusts into the grey North Sea.     On this unlikely hillside is where its source is to be found.      Three major Scottish rivers rise from the same spot.   "Annan, Tweed and Clyde rise oot the ae hillside" is a saying from the Borders.
