A discernible regularity in the world or in a manmade design it says in Wikipedia, and true to the description, every 15 August Mrs Rex's birthday turns up. A trip to Prestonfield House for afternoon tea was arranged for her today and I have to say it's the first time I've eaten a fruit scone to extracts of Wagner's Ring Cycle playing in the background.
