Birthday poseuse

Mrs Rex's 65th birthday today and as a special treat I dragged her up the steepest hill we could find to the Castelo de São Jorge. As usual we tourists (and big ones too) were everywhere and as usual you didn't need to go very far off the beaten track to find poverty. No wonder the locals get fed up with us. Even their washing isn't safe from the camera lens.

Just to round off the celebrations we had a birthday dinner in Os Tibetanos. Vegetarian and very good it was too, especially if you get a table in the garden room as we did. The short walk back to the hotel was a bonus...
