My great great great great grandparents worked this mine in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. When they tin ran out and the mine closed (for the first time) they moved on, bringing the granite down from the Moor to build the Breakwater. When the Breakwater was finished, they moved on. There comes a time to move on.
