The Ballad Of The Moth And The Trousers

Checking the moth trap last night, big ol' Noctuid came hurtling in, pinged off the trap and flew right up my trousers. Couldn't shake it out but definitely unidentified moth in the bagging area. Went into the kitchen, removed trousers and shook them out. No sign of moth - figure it must have fallen out on the way back to the house. 

Bedtime. Removed trousers. Moth shoots out and pings around the bedroom. Fun for all the family. 


Turnip Moth, Agrotis segetum.
