Meadow Brown or Gate Keeper?
We were told at the A and E department at Addenbrookes hospital last night that someone from the Plastic Surgery Unit would telephone this morning to let us know when my husband would have his surgery; they said either Wednesday or Thursday. We have been here before, waiting in when no call has been made, so this afternoon I telephoned the Unit and spoke to the person who collates the trauma list. It seems it will be Friday or Monday, tomorrows list has one person on it and that will take all day!
So while waiting for the phone call today I have been doing some knitting, I am making another toy, as well as knitting a small blanket with a teddy attached and crocheting my squares together.
The kitchen floor looks very good and I have to wash it after two or three days. I already have some helpers ready to help us to move the new fridge and freezer into place. Hopefully the tumble dryer can also be returned to its rightful place in the kitchen. This will mean that the conservatory will begin to look more like a conservatory than a kitchen. However, I have yet to purchase a new kitchen so the conservatory will continue to have a dual role.
I went outside to look for today’s blip and found this butterfly. I think it is a Meadow Brown, but equally it could be a Gatekeeper; hopefully someone will confirm.
