Hardy country

This plaque is quaint really, as it is to commemorate a character in a novel, but Hardy was so specific in his place descriptions it is fairly easy to find them, all over Dorset.
A visit to Dorchester through the fantastic, if misty countryside, makes me want to read Hardy again.
This building is now a branch of Barclays Bank, but a handsome one still.
