Kildwick to Skipton.

What a day of two halves!! Under blue skies and sunshine coming and going, a lovely morning strolling from Kildwick to Skipton along the canal. It's a lovely stretch of the canal with beautiful views towards the country hills and some quaint little cottages and flats to gaze at along the way.

Upon arrival at Skipton, after a picnic, the heavens opened...and boy did they open!! This was the tale of the afternoon...absolutely torrential downpours, but continual ones at that. However, no bother when you're enjoying an amble around the shops and hopping on The Dalesway Bus back to Kildwick! :-P

My landlord has just been to renew my contract for another year and has given the all clear to have a little dog...once the decorator, who has been coming since before Christmas 2017, has done his stuff. Great to get the go ahead so now I just need to badger him to get that decorating started!!
