3rd Trip to Paulilles - Boats and Dynamite

This time after my swim and breakfast I wandered across to the Atelier des Barques, which is doing so much work in restoring historic local boats.  You can go into the workshop and look at all the work they are doing from an observation terrace.  I watched three men manoeuvre a long piece of wood – it must have been the whole length of a mature tree – in to position for it to be cut to be part of the side of a substantial boat.
 
Walking back from the beach a different way there were old relics of the past which reminded you that this was a dangerous place to work.
