Fun in Mote Park

Picked maggoty plums this morning at an orchard where the crop is donated to a local church who then open a stall where you can pick your own. All the Victoria plums went yesterday, there were some Jubilee plums left but difficult to find. You can never tell what’s inside a plum until you cut into it. Shame, but I managed to rescue about 2/3 of the crop which are now sitting in the freezer.

Went for a walk via Tesco’s and Mote Park where the Model Engineering Club can always be relied on for a blip. A dull, very mild day with spats of rain.

Cooked a vegetarian lasagne for dinner from the Eat Well for Less TV programme, found some good recipes from that series.
