East Light

These two former light houses (this and the extra) were built in 1830 to mark the entrance and edges of this part of the river Nene before it joins The Wash.

The main image - of the East Light,  was home to Sir Peter Scott famous naturalist, the West Light lighthouse is across the water and is shown in the extra.

Both are privately owned and no longer function as lighthouses.
