If you go down to the woods today.....

You're sure of a big surprise
If you go down in the woods today
You'd better go in disguise!

For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain
Because today's the day the
Teddy Bears have their picnic


No teddy bears but we did have a picnic breakfast and there was a big surprise in the form of an enormous wooden eagle! 


It was an early start for me, meeting up with the family at 8am for a pastries and filtered coffee picnic breakfast! :). Not so early for them - they'd already been up for hours! The joys of small children.....


We certainly had the best of the day with the morning sunshine pouring through the trees! It had mostly gone by 10am and much of the rest of the day has been drizzly.


Many thanks for all the great comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's rainy day blip - I really hadn't dared hope for any hearts, so I was doubly pleased to receive them!
