A Wee Wapiti

On the way home we stopped in Gaylord, Michigan...where they manage an elk herd. Merrick and I saw them last week, but they were far away.

Not so today. We saw several massive bulls with huge horns, and several young babies.

We pulled into home about 9 p.m. We were all three of us tired, but we had a nice trip.
