La Chapelle Notre Dame du Roc

What a difference a day makes!
Yesterday we had 7-8 hours of rain in the afternoon and evening, some of it torrential, with thunder and lightning. Not good.
Today was sunny with blue skies all day.
In the morning, we went to the lake for swimming and enjoying the sun.
In the afternoon we walked up Le Roc, which towers over Castellane, our local town. The top picture shows the rock with the tiny 14th century church on top, which is where we walked to. The bottom picture shows the view from the top, which was quite breathtaking.
Hopefully more good weather tomorrow and we are off to the south coast.
