In the limelight

Slept well last night, much cooller!

The landscape gardener working opposite woke me just before 8, closely followed by the workmen two doors down, and a little later by kitchen fitters also opposite!! There are only 8 houses in our cul de sac.....but its been a bit like a building site for the best part of the summer :-/

A busy day today, shopping, housework, laundry and clean bed linen, alhough we did find time to pop into Reds for lunch ;-) We did get caught out wih the rain......no boats, sandals, fortunately we had a golf brolly in the boot of the car!!!

We have friends coming to stay tomorrow, as we are all off to Haydock Races. It willbe a busy meet as its Ladies Day, so a little dressing up will be in order ;-)

A quick prawn and chorizo pasta dish for dinner this evening, always tasty.

We have been watching the athletics on and off all day, and now flicking between them and my teams first home game....so far so good ;-)

Just a quick garden blip today, inbetween the showers, although this evening has been really sunny, but cool.
