Floral Interloper.

Earlier in the week Gaby34320 posted a blip of a sunflower that she hadn't planted and said she had one in most of her pots. Well we have two such interlopers, one you may have spotted here in the further pot of Gladioli and one in a potted Fuchsia.

I think Gaby is probably right and the seeds have come from the compost. I'm not sure they are going to flower, not much sign of one yet. As you can see tha Gladdies are flowering and coming on nicely. We never used to grow these but daughter Grace gave us some a couple of years ago.

I took this when we got back from shopping this morning. Having gone out in cardi and raincoat the sun had appeared and I abandoned both. In a rash moment I put out some washing and decided to take the photograph in the sun. Needless to say it didn't last and we've had some very heavy showers.
