Wednesday walk

Today we walked 10 miles from Bardon Mill to Haltwhistle via Plenmeller Common. The sky to the north was dark and at times we could see the sheets of rain. The wind came from the south and kept chasing the rain away. The sun shone and the light was wonderful. This image was taken at our lunch stop. I liked the starkness of the trees and the textures and colours in the walls.

Edinburgh tomorrow. Hope it stays dry there too.
