Rain Check

It has rained heavily for most of the day. Poppy had a friend to stay last night and they asked me to take them into town. I left them in the Grand Arcade and did some shopping by myself. The shops are full of autumn clothes and it feels like the end of summer. It seems strange that we're going away next week. it feels like we should be getting ready to go back to school.
